HIGH SCHOOL ALL-STATE CHOIR AND BAND

Sunday we enjoyed the All-State Gala Concert performed by Oregon students at the Eugene Hult Center. There were 240 singers in the choir directed by Dr. Bruce Rogers. (The band had a lot of people, too) :-)
Pictured here are Nathan (band), Eric (choir), Sean (choir) and Mathew (choir). It's a fun picture but not the one going into the Headlight-Herald so I had to post it here. The boys had a great time and met a bunch of new friends. The Gala Concert was wonderful. We'll have a CD to listen to in a few weeks.

MIDDLE SCHOOL ALL-STATE STUDENTS

Thursday, January 24th, Mr. Coughlin drove Kim Teigland (choir), Vance Wetzel (band), Claire Seeger (band) and Matthew Travers (choir) to Eugene for the Middle School All-State Choir and Band. The first picture is in the Jr. High Music Room before leaving and the other picture is of Kim and Matthew after the concert.
I'm sure they can all say they enjoyed their experience of "Raising The Bar".

TRI-M INDUCTION CEREMONY APPROACHING FAST

Chapter 1221 of Modern Music Masters will be having an Induction Ceremony this Sunday, February 3rd @ 1:00. Yes...we know it's Super Bowl Sunday, but the ceremony should be over by kick-off. Congratulations to those that have been invited to join by Mr. Coughlin and Mrs. Henderson. Next week we'll have pictures and an article showing who these fine musicians are. Tell your friends and family to come enjoy an afternoon of music and the reception that follows.
Mr. Coughlin, Mrs. Henderson and the officers hope to see you there!
