Today I attended a Messiah rehearsal with the Midway Chorale & Orchestra and I came home exhilarated!
Every even year (2006, 2008) this choir & orchestra rehearse and perform The Messiah. The choir is made up of singers & players from Tillamook and Lincoln counties and is directed by Dr. Albert Thompson.
I'm telling you all this to encourage you to attend next Sunday's rehearsal on November 30th. You won't be able to perform with the choir this year, but all THS & TJHS choir members should experience this type of rehearsal at least once.
This last rehearsal will be in Pacific City at the Cape Kiwanda Community Center @ 3 PM.

If you'd like to drive yourself here are the driving directions from Tillamook:
Drive south for 9 miles on Hwy. 101 (start counting the 9 miles right after Les Schwab)
Turn right on Sandlake Road
Continue on Sandlake Road for 5 miles.
Turn left toward Pacific City at the stop sign.
Drive on this road for 8 miles. Pass the Sandlake Store, Jewel Creek Kennels, many Dead End Streets (on your right), and a beautiful stretch of beach.
At the stop sign (where the Thousand Trails entrance is) keep going straight.
The Community Center will be on the right and has a huge grey sign out by the road.
I'll give extra credit to anyone that goes to the rehearsal.
