ALL-STATE CHOIR 2010

Last Thursday Mr. C took Nichole, Alexis, Erika and Shenina to Eugene for the Middle School Honor Band and Choir.

Their concert was Friday afternoon.

Last Friday I took Jacinda and Loren to Eugene for the High School All-State Choir.

While Jacinda and Loren rehearsed with Dr. Steven Zielke, I attended the OMEA Conference (and even got in a tiny little nap).

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

This is my 14th year as the Tillamook High School and Tillamook Junior High School Choir Director for the year 2015-2016. (My 28th year with Tillamook School District #9...I taught elementary general music for 14 years.) I taught 3 years elementary general music in Kelso, Washington before teaching in Tillamook.

At THS I direct Mixed Choir (a non-auditioned choir), Concert Choir (an auditioned competition choir) and Vocal Ensemble (an auditioned touring choir).

At TJHS I direct the Mixed Choir and teach Drama.

I love my job.

I enjoy building relationships with my students and I love the way they quickly learn new techniques and grow in their musicianship. My hope is that I nurture a passion for music in my students.
