PORTLAND BEAVERS BASEBALL

What a fun night. The Vocal Ensemble sang the National Anthem at PGE Park and brought along 30 THS staff, friends and family.

Except for the delay of game, I think everyone had a great time. Some of us were getting hungry!!

It wasn't long, though until we were escorted from the room below and we walked out to sing. They have a really nice sound system and you kiddos sang great. (The last National Anthem singing of the year.) I just slightly got some of that rain in my eyes. Here's the pitch... (just a little baseball humor)

As for me....well....a sauerkraut/onion hot dog, medium diet coke, dip-n-dots and a bag of crackerjacks later I felt like I had the good ol' American baseball experience.

It lightly rained the entire night, but our seats were dry. Skyler even got a foul ball and had Lucky the Beaver sign it.

Look to the left of this post and view a slideshow of all the pictures that were on my camera. I'm sure more will turn up on Facebook and I may "borrow" those and post them here later.

Thanks to Alison Meyers and Wil Duncan for helping chaperone! You two were a "ball" of fun. Another attempt at a pun.

Also - thanks to our THS Moolah program so that 20 or so students could come!!
