SINGERS TO BE STUDENT BODY OFFICERS

WOW! Our THS Choral Department is beaming today!!

The 2010-2011 Student Body Officer speeches and elections are over and the results are in . . .

Congratulations to Dakota Cloud (Tenor) next year's Communications Officer, Tiffiny Bofill (Alto) next year's treasurer, Josh Kneeland (Tenor) next year's Vice President and Kaitlyn Dooher (Alto) next year's President. Go Altos and Tenors!!!!!!!!

I have a feeling next year is going to be "SONGTASTIC".

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

This is my 14th year as the Tillamook High School and Tillamook Junior High School Choir Director for the year 2015-2016. (My 28th year with Tillamook School District #9...I taught elementary general music for 14 years.) I taught 3 years elementary general music in Kelso, Washington before teaching in Tillamook.

At THS I direct Mixed Choir (a non-auditioned choir), Concert Choir (an auditioned competition choir) and Vocal Ensemble (an auditioned touring choir).

At TJHS I direct the Mixed Choir and teach Drama.

I love my job.

I enjoy building relationships with my students and I love the way they quickly learn new techniques and grow in their musicianship. My hope is that I nurture a passion for music in my students.
