Tillamook High School hosted our District 3 Honor Choir this year. 17 - count 'em! - 17 schools participated. Amity, Astoria, Banks, Clatskanie, Dayton, Delphian, Gaston, Neah-Kah-Nie, Nestucca, Rainier, Seaside, Sheridan, St. Helens, Tillamook, Vernonia, Warrenton and Willamina. We started the weekend off with registration in the band foyer and moved along to our sectionals and mass rehearsals.
Dr. Long made it on Saturday and then we had a concert at 3:00. During the concert, Sean Richards sang a solo: Sebben, crudele and Nathan Casteel played a trombone solo. Bonnie Hastings was chosen to sing one of the solos in "He Never Failed Me Yet".
