LAST DAY

Tomorrow is our last day of the 2007-2008 school year. All you singers keep in touch over the summer. I'll be writing posts throughout the coming months.

Have a great break, keep singing and listen to good choir music...you can find a lot of good choirs on youtube.com...(be careful...you can find a lot of not-so-good choirs,

too.) Let me know of songs that you like. I'll be buying new music early in the 2008-2009 year.

I hope you've enjoyed the year as much as I have.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

This is my 14th year as the Tillamook High School and Tillamook Junior High School Choir Director for the year 2015-2016. (My 28th year with Tillamook School District #9...I taught elementary general music for 14 years.) I taught 3 years elementary general music in Kelso, Washington before teaching in Tillamook.

At THS I direct Mixed Choir (a non-auditioned choir), Concert Choir (an auditioned competition choir) and Vocal Ensemble (an auditioned touring choir).

At TJHS I direct the Mixed Choir and teach Drama.

I love my job.

I enjoy building relationships with my students and I love the way they quickly learn new techniques and grow in their musicianship. My hope is that I nurture a passion for music in my students.
