I thought we had a great discussion in Concert Choir today regarding racism...it was part of our school Embracing Community emphasis this week and Concert Choir was 3rd period when the discussion was to take place. Way to speak up and share, singers. I was proud of you for supporting each other and taking to heart each person's story. Quoted in part by one of our basses from Dr. MLK's I Have A Dream Speech: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character."
