SHENINA AND ZAYN RECITAL APRIL 8, 2014

Shenina and Zayn came after school every Tuesday like clockwork to prepare songs for the Monday Musical Scholarship Contest in May. Then Zayn ended up moving from Tillamook before the contest. Solution: A small, yet lively Voice Recital for family and friends. It was a short recital, but very, very sweet.

A LITTLE ABOUT ME

This is my 14th year as the Tillamook High School and Tillamook Junior High School Choir Director for the year 2015-2016. (My 28th year with Tillamook School District #9...I taught elementary general music for 14 years.) I taught 3 years elementary general music in Kelso, Washington before teaching in Tillamook.

At THS I direct Mixed Choir (a non-auditioned choir), Concert Choir (an auditioned competition choir) and Vocal Ensemble (an auditioned touring choir).

At TJHS I direct the Mixed Choir and teach Drama.

I love my job.

I enjoy building relationships with my students and I love the way they quickly learn new techniques and grow in their musicianship. My hope is that I nurture a passion for music in my students.
