Saturday, February 23rd 5 soloists and 1 trio traveled to Astoria HS to our District 3 Solo & Ensemble contest. We walked away with a wide spread of scores ranging from I-
to III. The judge worked with each singer/trio individually and spent time talking about projection, enunciation, pitch, memorization and interpretation issues. Five instrumental students also participated in the Saturday event.

On the way home the 10 students that rode the busette (plus Mr. C and Mrs. H) stopped at Mo's Restaurant in Cannon Beach and enjoyed a good meal together.
This is always a character (and voice) building experience which in the long run helps each singer improve...Sing on!!
