Sukauskas contacted me and it worked out for us to have a choir exchange with them.They came, set up a lot of sound equipment, our Concert Choir sang, the Vocal Ensemble sang and then they sang. We heard their Chamber Choir and Jazz Choir. Their choirs had a very nice, open tone.
One day I hope we can visit them some day at their school. I hear there is a great water/amusement park up that way. And...Leavenworth ( a couple of hours away) would be a great place to visit. The town is a Bavarian Village and we could shop till we drop. I think their Jazz Choir inspired some of our singers. We MAY try putting together a Jazz Choir of our own next year. Anyone for
a 7 AM rehearsal???
